Title: What wiper blades?

What wiper blades do you have?

Mine a streaking and juddering a little and wondered what you have.

I used to get Bosch Aerotwins but are there any other out there that are better?

I put Bosch Aerotwin's on mine last year and have been very satisfied. They're much better than the standard one's VW fit at the factory.

Just looking at getting a set of AeroTwin for my Mk.8 but the Bosch website doesn't list the 8 and when selecting the A864S which go on the Mk.7, Halford's reg-finder says they're not suitable for the 8.

Is anyone able to confirm if the A864S will fit on an 8, please?

Just for info drill bits not so much, had one heat up and snap in brick last week and switched to Makita and went straight through  :grin:

Measure current blades and compare to these. Just went out and got set, much better 😄

The Bosch ones are fab and work incredibly well, but so pricey for what they are. You can buy replacement rubber only for them but it's third party stuff and obviously not genuine Bosch rubber

They’re £30 for a pair of fronts at Halfords, so not unreasonably priced IMO.

Paid about £18 including postage for mine, from eBay. I don't think that's unreasonable at all.

Amazon currently have the Bosch A864s fronts for £18.25 and a rear is £5.80.

Just a heads-up for any 8 owners who may be reading...

The Bosch A864S blades from the Mk.7 fit and work great on the 8.

The rear blade for the Mk.7 - Bosch A282H - doesn't fit.  It's a slightly different fitment and the blade is a little longer than the OEM one.
