Thanks for all the comments guys :) Done just over 1500 miles in the week and a half i've had it

Ahh another Derv convert. Looks nice!

nick

Definitely the fuel of the future :lipsrsealed: Still miss driving the golf, and this feels 10x slower :(

Derv is the way forward :afro:

Looks good Dec, though it's a bit of a older person's car for someone of your age innit?  :undecided:

It is a bit of a mature car, but fits in a bit better at work  The Golf looked odd next to an Aston Martin and Porsche the other week  This just blends in with the other newer cars i.e golfs, honda's and bmw's.

Niice buy San! Newer cars are awesome, nice an reliable!

So is the golf gone now?

Reliable.. its in the garage today already for the CV Boot

Golf apparently sold on ebay, but you know what ebay buyers are like.. so it will probably be back up for sale again at the weekend.

Did you pay that outright?

Good choice though. TBF, some sneaky engine mods won't get your parents worrying.

Not quite, hence the needing to sell the Golf, and pay for the insurance in January too!

stick in there Dec and do all the work to it when they are away like you said, as soon as you move out mate you wont have any cash spare for cars!

nice mota guv! :afro:

I'm saving for a deposit at the moment, but hopefully I will be paid a bit better by the time I have enough saved for that!

Welcome to the dark side my friend

I can't imagine you'll be leaving that standard too long... I've got an excuse as my Mrs won't let me and I'm also getting a track toy next year...

Keeping schtum. Mostly.

I hope it won't be standard for too long! lol

Definetely want wheels and decent coilovers at some point, but would rather get the inside tidied up a bit first :)

Ladies seem to love it just because its an Audi regardless of the wheels :lipsrsealed:

CV boot fixed under warranty, no questions asked, no quibble :) Happy with that, thought it would have been a hassle!

I have a lot of weathy friends so this still looks pretty crap next to them lol

My girlfriend has a brand new suzuki swift which just shuts it down

Do it bud, so nice compared to an old golf! This is a pretty cheap model, but its a diesel so cost a couple of thousand more than a petrol!

Having said that, I've done around 2000 miles in a couple of weeks, so no doubt the extra will be justified while its in my ownership :)
