Now, I've just bought some Meguiar's Trim Detailer (http://meguiarsdirect.com/detail/MEG+G10810) as I'd heard good things from a friend. I applied it to the rear spoiler (is that what that's called - the black bit at the top of the rear window?) and it has come up an absolute treat.

I'll do the other bits later and hopefully get some before and after shots of the plastic.

I used to use that, but it tends to "streak" after being rained on or washed. Zaino Z16 is a lot better IMO.

i found exactly the same

I've used black wow on the megane, loved it.  It really does need to be used in stupidly small amounts!  The bumpers on the golf are grossly grey, can't wait to see what it does to them..

I completely cleaned my new GTI today and used the Meguiars and the black came out a treat - I did the apply and then buff with a MF cloth so we'll have to see how it looks in a few weeks.

I'm on about Meguiars Trim Detailer, and trust me, I'm using it right

Buffed off after 30 mins sitting time, with a clean MF cloth. Trim looked ok, next day slight rain shower, water streaks all over the place. Z16 doesn't do that at all. Thats why I now use Z16. Far better product IMO and lasts for ages.

Where do you get Zaino Z-16 from? I've seen it a few places online for £14.90 inc postage - wondering if there's anywhere any cheaper.

I did a bit of blacking up yesterday, using Black WOW.  Only the first hit, so it'll get better over time.

I can see why they call it that! It looks great - I'm very impressed. Umm, what to get Black WOW or Zaino Z-16!
