Checked when the Tax was going to expire, end of this month so have a few more days to get what I want out of it before scrapping  :laugh:

took off the standard GTI wheels and took it to the garage to put the new BBS' on that I bought, only the locking nut had rusted in place, so need a new set, also got a new front number plate, as my wolfsburg surround decided to drop my old one somewhere between the NEC and wolverhampton!!!

Looked at it and prayed for money/emotional strength, then went to work.

Incidentally, this actually worked in a way, my other half got a pay rise. And I'm rather good at spending his money as it happens. Keep praying!

Changed rear axle bushes and had a nightmare bleeding the brakes, am going to carry on tommorrow and change wish bone bushes aswell.

I put air in my tyres with a home air compresser, used it to spray my garden fences too  :smiley:
