Not today but recently bought this from a vento

and took them apart so the material all matched in my golf

In the last 7 months its had
-coilovers
-up rated 22mm front and rear H&R ARB's
-BBS RX11's
-De-arched
-Smoked headlights
-Slim cl side strips
-Front and rear drilled and vented discs + green stuff pads

You would think, as I get through the list of things to do, it would get shorter but unfortunately......

Are they worth it? On the edge of buying them....much of a difference?

Got some work done on the project yesterday :)
More work done recently, lots of messing about trying to get the coolant pipes to run properly and oil pipes for the turbo in, these are now sorted bar the shouting and my new intercooler arrived along with some silicone hoses, so I am now onto running and planning boost hoses and mounting the intercooler.
I had to put the grill on to check the centre spots still fit with the intercooler in place which has made me want to finish it soon. :)

16v Sump is now fitted and also has the oil return in. need to make a bracket to hold the alternator in a different position so it clears the throttle body.
Got some twin pot 280mm S2 brake calipers and carriers so building those up and just hoping they will clear the inside of my wheels :)
Got a bracket missing from the gearbox, need to go hunting around scrapyards.
ECU is delayed so not going to make Elsecar hoping to have it ready for Big Bang at the end of April.

Probably got lost in the "Great Crash of 08

i Fitted a set of Mk4 polo coilovers to my golf lol, had to change the strut top mounts on the front to the golf ones and they fitted perfect (and really low)

but when i came to the back coilovers  they were way to small so had to use the standard ahocks n springs on the rear, the gti looks like stilts at the rear right now,
ordering a full proper mk3 golf coilovers today lol

anyone want to buy some front coilovers or sell me some rear ones? lol

If you can find them cheap enough then I would do it but not for near £300 as I think they are. I got mine for £120 nearly new off ebay.
