Yesterday, got clutch slave cylinder fitted, US spec rear lights and Sharan boot badge fitted.  :cool:

Had the dreaded rotating rear wiper jet, so fitted a new wiper motor unit to my mk4....

Surprised how difficult the tailgate panel is to remove, got the power shakes trying to get it off.  Came off with some massive creak and a bang.

Removed old wiper unit, retro-fitted some water protection over the lock etc (a bit ghetto but basically a piece of carefully positioned plastic sheet and some gaffer tape) and fitted the new wiper unit over the top of that > Part # 1J6955711C

Realised taking washer hose off I'd damaged the brittle plug, so did the DIY fix with some Halfords hose and cable ties.  Hardest part again was getting the tailgate panel back on, I really needed 4 pairs of hands!!!

cleaned up some of the hoses in the engine bay  :laugh: fitted a new more substantial jubilee clip to the lower boost hose/throttle body as i would not tighten properly and the hose had moved also got some new rear tyres fitted this afternoon and had some good comments about my golf at the dealers :afro:  :smug:

Had New cambelt/Aux belt/P.Steering belt fitted........£130.00p all in  :smiley:
