Just removed the handbrake light bulb cos it was staying on...  :lipsrsealed:

 I had the braking system checked and everything was fine so it seems like the easiest thing to do  :laugh:

trial fitted some surfboards in the mk4 to see whether i needed to buy roof bars or not, the 7ft  and the 7ft 6" went in easy.... i had doubts that my 9ft 2" long board would fit in , and it bloody well did so im chuffed... no roof bars needed for solo surfin trips ... haha

Managed at the second attempt to adjust the droplinks to clear the front arb (just) and now no rubbing/noise on r/h full lock  :smiley:

been there in my mates leon, took me a while to stop sketching out and shaking. we laughed :D


As for me, straighten up my exhaust by tightening clamps and fitting an exhaust mount. also fitted a big M10x150 that was missing. goes through the starter, engine, box and front mount :shocked: (so thats what that clunking was :D )
