What have you done to your Golf today?

Rechecked cambelt tension after changing it.

Scanned for codes, just the one today!  Related to oil/filter change last week.

Ordered a new thermostat etc for some tinker time at the weekend.

Part-exchanged it for a 54-plate Bora TDi Highline

Fitted a new water pump £30 off ebay

Put these in

Fix the intermittent wiping of the rear wiper, the nut was done too tight... oh and I broke the swivel cap hinge to get to the nut   
Also adjusted the rear squirter so it hits the rear window and not the roof/front wind screen  

Need to clean the engine where all the oil and 20 years of crud have built up on it.

the passat was the same - gleams now, 

and the golf looks that good i was tempted NOT to sell it on for an engine transpant
