Scanned for codes, just the one today!  Related to oil/filter change last week.

Ordered a new thermostat etc for some tinker time at the weekend.

Fix the intermittent wiping of the rear wiper, the nut was done too tight... oh and I broke the swivel cap hinge to get to the nut  :cry:  :angry:
Also adjusted the rear squirter so it hits the rear window and not the roof/front wind screen :laugh: 

Need to clean the engine where all the oil and 20 years of crud have built up on it.
Passat B5.5 2.3 V5 170, with all the extras.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

Think I'll have to, I hope he has a leaf blower, got a load under the washer bottle & header tank  :laugh:

and the golf looks that good i was tempted NOT to sell it on for an engine transpant  :lipsrsealed:
