Changed the rocker cover gasket... now we know why I was loosing so much oil... a good portion of the old gasket was GONE  :grin: :shocked:  :embarassed:

No worries though, new gasket in and she feels better on the test run I took her on :cool: 

Now to do f@cking tip runs  :angry:

Driven it illegally fast round my private test track to test the brakes for the MOT. Bouncing off the rev limiter in 3rd FTW!

Sounds fun! :D

Not done anything, but making a list of all the faults I need to fix on Tuesday..

Car is losing about 0.5-1 litre of water per journey..

Interior light doesn't work at all

Boot light doesn't work

The blue LED on the new clocks doesn't work. Been a few times I haven't realised my full beams are still on!

Create a makeshift throttle switch plug to do for now.. I don't have one!

well yesterday i put a new waterpump on changed the p/s fluid put the original airbox back on (well its off a seat toledo but it will do for now) and gained 20 mpg instantly,cleaned the t/b and replaced the breather pipe from off the block and give it a bloody good clean
