Put some new jubilee clips on th N75 valve and some nice blue cable ties in the vac pipes, then had a play around with some ideas for the engine cover.
MK4 GTI T AGU, REVO Remap, BMC carbon box, Miltek cat back, Forge diverter valve, THS FR3 engine/Gbox mounts, Some random alloys, lowered on coilovers.
192bhp 212lbft torque.

Went to see my mum & dad and was able to park on the driveway next to the house - they don't own it but the bloke who does says we can now use it when he's not there. Why couldn't he have said that 15 years ago when I lived there??!!

Keeping schtum. Mostly.

Topped up the oil again  :lipsrsealed: f@cking rip off price @ Halfrauds which is why I wanted to go to GSF yesterday and use the same oil as I've been using & came in the car.

Might have a rocker cover oil leak too which could explain the rapidish oil loss :lipsrsealed:

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.
