changed my rocker cover gasket and changed oil and filter!

but couldnt make it to shady's meet! :cry:

Kicked the front bumper and hurt my foot. damn thing drinks water like there is no tomorrow  :cry: . And kicked the wheel because the tracking is out and its eaten my tyre (so kicking it might have made it a icle bit worse  :tongue: ). And not forgetting, my brakes failed and handbrake cable snapped  :laugh: . Gotta be awake to dive my 4 wheeled tomb  :grin:

Spent all afternoon on the drive doing an 8v mk2 thermostat change from hell! :angry: Bolts seized, couldn't get PAS pump off for ages, had to drop the whole thing out on the brackets  :angry:. At least the stat housing bolts came off ok this time and I didn't end up breaking the water pump. Mind you she warms up a treat now and gauge sits in the middle, hardly registered at all before, but now no heater at all, was at least luke warm before  :sad:  I sense a binning of the heater bypass valve is going to be the next job.  :undecided:
