E36 BMW gravel shed

Funny thing happened after work. I went to Clanfield and picked up a 325i coupe to get home instead of taking the train home.

Sills seem solid, although the OS one's been patched at the front.  Oh well.

Came with some history:

Stereo's currently playing music from my phone:

Came with some spares:

Which include four pins that fit into the jacking points so you can put it on axle stands (the guy was a tool-maker).

Oh and it also has a spare set of wheels, same as on the car:

Apparently two are bent.  Oh well.  I'll get over that.

And it's taxed until April and MOTed until August.

On the way back the ABS light came on and a CHECK light, with the check system whining about something to do with the brake light circuit.  I'll live.

£350.

Divided between three of us.  Sideways stress-relief is going to be investigated, to see how effective it is at reducing stress.  If it isn't placed into the trees then it might get taken to a drift day at some point.

Goes well.  Stops well.  Seems to start OK too.

The diff needs some attention.

Yes and all you get is a sh*tty piece of paper at the end of it.

And unless something's gone VERY wrong they don't go sideways.

Let's get it on the ramp and check it over first, eh?  Once that's done and we find anything that might pull our pants down and spank us unexpectedly, then we'll weld the diff up.

Sump guard to get sorted, too.
