Went down today to make a go of it

First floor out in about 20 minutes

Took about 8 cutting discs to get to this stage

The flipped it on it's side to start splitting the spot welds and get the last bits of floor off

Was splitting them by hand down the length of the spine with a hammer and chisel

Then got to the end and had about 4 layers of panel in 1 go. Took about an hour to get off

Pasenger side is all done and ready for the floor to drop in and weld up. Pics below show the difference in sides. get to do it all again next time to clean up the drivers side - Split all the spot welds by hand, carefully cut out the awkward bits and then used a grinding disc to get it all smooth.

I CAN'T FRIKKING WAIT!!!!!

Went down today to finish cleaning up the other side. Hopefully start getting the floors in tomorrow! Amazing how little there is to these!

Went down today with the intention of getting the floors in ... I now know why a full off body resto costs so much. Cleaned up the underside and it's pretty rot free which is a massive bonus. and now it's all prepped to be coated underneath when the pans go in!

After taking off 50 years of muck!

Had to do a bit more trimming and adjust the pans slightly, but the drivers side just drops straight in now which is ace! Going down tuesday to start making it solid again

Fresh pans and trial fit

Really enjoying it so far!

Ace, get some pics up. Once the pans were out i was excited, but then it took another 2 days to clear off the remainder of them. Worth doing though as now the new ones just drop in lurrvly!
