What should I pay for vagcom?

Been offered vag com from a mate as he sold his vag, he said offers

What should I offer him?  :huh:

- Looking for a MK2 8 valver

Also if I buy second hand will I have to pay $99 to use it on my car?

What version is it??  Can it do the later cars from MK5 onwards?

I believe you can move it from PC to PC as one time only option? if he bought it new then it should be possible to install on your PC moving licence over? not sure how it works but definately remember reading it on Ross-Tech
