vcds-lite obd-11 compatibility test

gettin this msg
                     
                     car is not iso/obd-11 compatible!
                     if this car is a vw/audi/seat/skoda
                     try select-individual controllers
my car is golf1.8t 51plate i bought this off ebay with the cable thought it was a case of plug and play or am a going wrong somewhere any help appreciated??  :wink:

a think so got disc with cable have installed the softwear on that which is the same that you would get off the ross tech web site?

What operating system you running aswel chap? if its XP then it may need abit of configuration in device manager with the com ports :)
