I came to my first dsg in April and got say I love it. I could not imagine driving a manual again. You do need to adjust your driving style to suit the box but that is no big deal. The only complaint I would have is like people have already said is when you pull away from junctions etc there is a lag in D. That is because it changes from first to second far to quickly. Not a problem 95% of the time. I have learnt that if I am pulling out of a busy junction then I touch the lever to put it into S. Then it pulls away like **** off a stick and puts a big smile on your face. Then drop it back into D to regain composure.
You will not regret getting it.
