my cab has a leak? i have no where its coming from but its round the passenger footwell the car solid underneath its coming somwhere near the fuse box any help where it could be coming from cheers jeff!

Look around the back of the engine bay, top of the bulkheald, and see if you can see if any water is pooling and draining away. Try spraying a hose over the bonnet and watch where the water drains, etc.

Yes there are 2 drains in the section behind the bulkhead where the wiper motor is, these drains allow any water to drain away through black gromets down the bulkhead side of the suspension turrets. if they are blocked the water will rise and flow into the car via holes in the bulkhead.

Hope this is the problem, easy fix !!

i know its not major but its just annoying! thanks for all your help guys! gonna try them at the weekend my car dried out now horay to the sun!  ;D yeah im thinking of getting a mk 1 tin top as im gonna give the cab to my younger bro! vw nut in the making!  ;D
