Mk2 golf exhaust

Got a standard back box on my mk2, in which I'm looking to replace, I've seen plenty of twin pipe exhausts as they are the most common for the , mk2, but I'm looking for a single pipe exhaust for mine as I prefer the way they look,  I've had a look around for a while now and I've found nothing, then thought of the idea of a mk1 golf single pipe exhaust fitting mine? But I don't know if it does or doesn't, does it fit?
Or can someone point me in the right direction?

Magnex do an oval exhaust I thought.

Twin pipes suit the mk2 but as above Magnex do an oval.

a very weird thing happened today whilst driving... just listening to my music driving along, choosing a song on my ipod which is connected by aux cable, then suddenly.. my aux setting disappears.. just vanished? its no longer there, as before you pressed src so go through settings, like tuner,standby,aux etc.. but when I press it now.. it doesn't work?? pulled my stereo out.. theres nothing wrong or out of place.. so my guess its my stereo's just f*cked...  haha

eBay, Club GTi classifieds, or.......start up a group buy, and they'll make some with a minimum order of 10.

I've asked them several times in the past, and always got the same response. They are developing so many new systems, that it's not worth there while getting the old tooling out for a one off batch of something that they haven't made for 10 years or so.

I asked how many orders would they need to even consider it, and got a very blunt "It won't happen" However, if you think different, put me down for one please.

Corrado exhausts fit with a bit of fettling. Single exit too.
