Pd tuning used to be a revo dealer but had the franchise taken from them.

Like I said, they mapped my Vectra well. I will give bluefin a chance and see what it is like. I only paid £220 for it to be reset as I had it from my previous car.

Received my bluefin back from superchips after being reset. Plugged it in and got an error.

Think my ecu is blocking the read from the superchips hand held. Kept getting hardware error d004.

Will be looking for a refund and looking for somewhere else to remap it.

A mate has a 2011 GTI Bluefinned and it didn't have a locked ECU. I suspect its an error in the file Superchips sent you.

It was when the bluefin unit was reading the current map that it failed, it has now read it successfully.

I will download it when I get home and upload the new map to the car. I'll let you know how it drives when it's all done

Well after my smokey engine last week which I thought that my turbo had gone,
After an inspection the garage is pretty certain it was down to the PCV system putting oil into the intake system and pressurising the crank, so decided to fit a Forge catch can, will be testing it out properly on Friday to see if this has solved the problem

Kit is a perfect fit and everything needed to complete the job

Parts removed

Well after a good test on track on Friday I'm pleased to say that the catch can system has sorted out the problem, no sign of any smoke whatsoever,
The faulty valve in the pcv system rather pressurises the crank or puts oil straight into the intake pipe,
A worthwhile mod IMO

Bluefin installed and wow what a difference, although the eml came on as soon as I started the engine.

Haven't got a fault code yet, any ideas? Hopefully I can reset it and it won't come back

Spoke to superchips about this and they said it should clear after abit, mine didn't and the fault code read p2015 which means a new inlet manifold which has nothing to do with the bluefin. The bluefin should show u the fault code mine did, good luck!
