somebody got out of bed the wrong way listen mark3 and 4 8v's are slow as sh1t ive had the mark 4 and ive driven the mark 3 ive had a mark 1 campaign and now got a mark2 8v and believe it m8 the mark 2's are quick enough you would be seeing my arse if i was to race you.............
and the mark4 2.0 gti 8v is not a gti in germany just here...sorry but its a badge ur getting not what the gti truly stands for
lets just say you have a comfortable slow golf and leave it as that

the mk4 stuff is all messed up, they used the same badges on different models, so its hard to tell whats what.

i dont think you can tell a 1.8T from the others.. or between the two variants of v5.

so... apart from the 170bhp v5 and the 180 bhp 1.8t, the 4motion and r32 i'm happy knowing i can roast most of em
