you're not still going on about this are you!
you really have too much time on your hands matey.

every place you look it says 1 car weighs more or less than the next place you look.

the only way to get a true mesurement is to put 2 cars on exactly the same scales and have them weighed.

Yeah well i dont have all 15 cars and I also dont have any scales big enough ... so I scowered the web looking at peoples webpages about their golf's and everything.

Im just hoping this will give a better representative than Overseer's chart that he often posts. His chart makes out all mk2's, mk3's and mk4's weigh the same ... which they dont... their very different.

Anywayz, since I wont be around tomorrow night, you can all have a good banter  ;)

PS: Hopefully jv will remove all these replies.

for crying out loud, im talking standard cars. If I put a MG Xpower 1000Bhp thing in mine, id blow u all ...

this graph represents the STANDARD car. and btw im NOT quoting 0-60 times or top speeds... im quoting power-to-weight ... u really thing the mk2 and mk3 8v's can beat a 150PD mk4 in a race? or even 0-60?  LOL ...

*knew this would happen* ... theres more to making a car go fast than bhp and weights.  ... what about grip? torque? ...

Yeah but the graph might be useful as a reference and for people looking into buying a Golf GTi ... people like to know stuff and this saves em scowering the web for data.
