4 new tyres & tracking sorted
Cat 1 alarm
Bought alloys
bought Dizzie's headlight loom and new bulbs
New Wipers
had rear passenger door resprayed
new numberplates
new tax disc holder (VW one!)
bought loads of autoglym products - don't why I bother given our sh*te weather!! 
MOT'd - passed first time 
Suspension bushes replaced all round
Driven it loads - so much it's passed the 60K mark 

think thats about it - saving now towards my next car....

Well in the last 12 months i have had 4 golfs so it would take me a while to explain all of them! but the one i have now, (had it since september), my helios blue mark 2 16 valver - i have just lowered it 55 mm, and put a single light de-badged grill and crystal clear head lights. oh and put my stereo from in my other golf (one of them) in my valver. I keep meaning to get pictures up on here, must do it soon!!

under the bonnet
2.0 engine
2x head gaskets
2x clutchs
2x gearboxs
drive shaft changed
front and gearbox engine mount replaced
various hose etc changed

think thats abt it apart from servicing etc

replaced Alternator and Battery
Alloys- 14" Team dynamics
Jetta, front panel, lights, grill
smoked indicators and side repeaters
Gti half smoked rears
custom made straight-through exhaust
lowered 80mm on Gmax
replaced balljoints and trackrod end
90'spec Gti side skirts, arches, and bumpers, rub strips (genuine VW)
GTI badges all round
Complete powersteering kit with new subframe, collumn, rack, pump, belts
another set of Alloys- 15" Black/polished rim
painted calipers
Boot install with false floor (blue carpet)
new Windscreen with Toptint
fitted Original Gti 14" Steelies (couldnt afford tyres for alloys)
replaced Carb
lots of polish!!
lots of swearing at it!! 

Whats next this year:-

Full GTI interior
Lowering Caps
Engine swap using Audi 2 litre 8v
Bigger Brakes!! 
german number plates

Bought mine on Father's Day,so far the list looks like this:

4 new sets of wheels - had 17s on when I bought it, changed these for VW Teardrop 14s (very corroded air leaking all over the place), then a set of Driver steelies, now got 14" PSlots on.......

Plugs, HT leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm
Renewed 2 corroded earth straps
Engine tune-up (ignition timing adjusted)
Jetex performance air filter
Renewed centre box on Scorpion system (then had it re-sealed about 4 times cos it kept blowing)
Renewed knackered strut top mounts
Front wheel bearing (done at Premier Northampton, gone again 2 months later (!!) so on the to do list
Ball joint replaced
Tracking adjusted
Debadged two light grille
Eyebrow spoiler
Smoked side repeaters
Rear wiper blade
Front engine mount
New number plates
Wolfsburg plate holders
Leather gear lever gaiter
Leather gearknob
Parcel shelf (original one had big holes in it)
Weighted shift rod

To do list:
Oil/Filter change
New headlights (probably crystal smoke crosshairs)
Bonnet lifters
Crystal rear lights
