Non of the 1.8t come with forged internals from factory. All 1.8t should run a recirculating diverter valve unless mapped for atmospheric dump valve.

If you're going for big power it doesn't matter what engine you go for if you're going to change all the internals anyway but I would advise you to keep the AUM ecu, sensors and loom. So with that in mind I would suggest getting a bare block, any 1.8t block with internal water pump, build it up with your choice of internals, inspect and slap the AUM head on it and drop it back in. Done.

Quite a few have gone 2.1 stroker and recommend it for larger frame turbos, integrated engineering are a good vendor to buy from, badger5 are an official UK distributor for integrated engineering, purchased from him before and I highly recommend him.

Ok mate nor probs,

ours was mapped we believe to run an atmospheric from the top of my head, this people is why you dont buy already tuned cars with not a lot of history haha,

Can you run an agu bottom end with a aum head, loom, and ecu?

Its just we have a low mileage agu engine we're collecting on saturday.

also i was possibly thinking of reveting back to a standard map the only problem is we're running a full stainless sport cat system, would that make any difference on the standard map?

Cheers again!!
