Title: HELP! just cleaned my TB

rite after reading rich911 stichy on how to clean the throttle body i fought i would do it :smiley:.

like rich said in his sticky take onlt half an hour and is easy to man :cool:

here is the results will let u know how she drives 2morrow

Glad the guide was a help (spent hours re doing them after the forum crash)

hope so i thought it would take like 2hours to do but when i senn half an hour i fought got to do that.

i did mine and it felt better i had a fault code pop up coz of the dirty tb and its not come back

I did this when I polished mine up, got the polishing wheel in there so its like a mirror, amazing how much better it is

yea it has m8 my idle was abit up and down it has stop now so far away and it runs better to  :cool:

just been out in the car again and the idle will stick at 1200rpm for about 30 seconds and then drop to its normal idle does it need vagcom to do the enlinement.

It will need a few miles to self adjust. Get some miles under it and it will be fine  :wink:

its just start to settle m8 down to 1000rpm 200rpm to go  :cool:

I did this with the pre crash guide and it made a hell of a difference.

(also if you mostly do shortish kind of journeys, a hundred mile blast or so on the Mway now and then makes a big difference - blows away the cobwebs)
