GTI Build Dates - Anyone got one yet?

 really disheartening isnt it when the dealer cant give you any info, i also cant get a timescale on my order, i put the order in the last week of march, still no news at all..

Mate you need to phone VW, end of march is earlier than most of our orders - give them a call.

I ordered mine at end of march and was told build week 22, then changed to build week 34.  Although delayed I did get a timescale to anticipate the delivery.  I would also say give VW a call.

Thanks for the update Bear... It's incredulous that in this day and age, we can get a Man on the Moon, but can't track a simple VW Order.... The long wait continues

I don't think we can put a man on the moon anymore. Health and Safety executive say no.

Mine is now on it's way.

GTI ordered 2nd April. I was given an initial build week of 22, this then changed to 25 and stayed that way. Changed to confirmed about 4 weeks ago, now in transit.

"HOLY SH*T!"..... Just checked the online tracker this morning & its switched to Order "CONFIRMED!" I keep pressing 'Submit' to check I'm not imagining things but its definitely saying 'Confirmed'.... I take back everything I've said.

(Just for those who don't already know, Order was placed on the 29.03.13 for 5dr DSG GTi in Pure White with PP, DCC & 19" Santiago's with Heritage)

Things are looking up!

(Knowing my luck it was a glitch in the system & it reverts back to 'Processing' on Monday)

If that's correct... I'm possibly looking at Build Week 29/30 (around the middle of July) hopefully before the factory shut down...

Dealer had originally envisaged build week 28, so they werent far out in their estimation.
