How about your seat? They can make noises, mine were creaking for a while when I first got it but have stopped now. Could you get someone else to drive so you can sit in the back and try and narrow down where the problem is?

Good Idea could be something under the seat maybe, i will have a look, i'll ask the wife to drive it about a bit  :undecided:

 :grin: :grin:nah she's not keen on driving the Gti , she hated the Clubsport i had, wouldnt go near it!!

Today i polished around the door area, all the metals , this seems to have stopped the noise

Result!

Mine has an annoying rattle from around where the seatbelts enter the B pillar. Very annoying at times.

Intermate service on my standard 33 k mile  Mk7 64 plate and the 5th main dealer stamp .brake fulid change also . A club sport in the show room was under wraps .  i used to enjoy a visit

Changed the setting from ‘sport’ to ‘individual’.
Left everything in ‘sport’ apart from engine noise-put that in ‘eco’,what a difference.
Sounds far better and less annoying,a lot more realistic sounding-well,to me it does!
