I needed a place to talk about my GTI still ;)
I have 59 plate black GTI, and I love it. I've had it for about 6 months. 50k on the clock. Done a few 300+ mile journeys in it, and have never sat in a more comfy car (admittedly my previous car history is short and ropey).
Tartan trim, winter pack, dynaudio, RNS510. No parking sensors, no cruise control, manual, and to be honest I am enjoying the stripped down experience. I know it's not the fastest thing on the road, but every time I chase down something that cost far more than the <£10k I paid for it with a '17 or '18 plate of German manufacture it makes me smile :D
