Just tell them you have DSG as I think it is a slightly different map.

I have been running it for a year now, on a DSG car, with no issues

I had it on my MK5 DSG GTI for four years with no issues

Thanks Mike, what do you think to it? Do you have Anthony else like induction, exhaust?

Cheers,

Jim

The TSI has an IHI turbo, not the Borg Warner k03 in the FSI. Ours it's actually a little smaller ...... but more efficient  Watch out for the the MK Fivers now

back on topic sorry, can't comment as I went for REVO, if I were to choose again I would go for APR. Bluefin seems very tame? But it is all down to personal preference!

........ I now have it on the MK6, as I had the handset transferred, and have just put it on as I was waiting for the first service to make sure everything was ok with the car.
Highly recommended.

Good to know this Mike. Our cars have the same BW, so Bluefin will work on mine.
Soon be done ......... at last! (Happy GolfTi?)

Seems like an easy solution DIY, but i don't like how they are universal and have tunes for like every car under the sky..

Companies like APR/REVO only work on certain cars and are very common in the US.

Also i have heard they don't make as much torque as the competitors.

What do you guys think? anyone have experience with them?

I've got Bluefin and it's great.  Easy to install. I did mine via Windows emulation on a Mac which they say isn't supported but worked absolutely fine.

@Asker - our cars are very similar (think we were built 2 weeks apart) and you won't have a problem.

On the MK5 I had no other mods just the chip.

I went for the Bluefin because it follows the stock graph profile, just a bit more everywhere.
I looked at some of the other maps which seem to give a large spike of torque and then tail off, not what I was looking for but some people like it better, just up to personal preference.

Really makes the car very quick, doesn't affect MPG, although that never concerned me as I only do about 12000 miles a year.

You do get used to it but can take it off easily to see what stock feels like.
You aren't long putting it back on

A few have said about build weeks.
If you know when yours was could you list it please and year of manufacture.
This would give others including myself an idea of if ours would be able to use the bluefin.
Thanks
