mk1/cab door cards...
« on: 09 April 2007, 10:37 »
woah feels weird being in the mk1 section!!

quick question..... are mk1 door cards the same for cabs as they are for regular tintops? i assume the front and rear seats are the same as well?
or to put it better, will any old mk1 seats and door cards fit in a cab and vise versa?

door cards are differant but only in apperance so they will fit
front seats will fit,

as said, front cards will fit straight on, but rears will not, mainly because a cabby has windy windows in the back ;)

Mk1 front seats will go in, but if the cab is a late one the forward/back adjust handle is on the other side, but if this is the case MK2 seats will fit :)
Rears are totally different cos theres a massive strengthening beam under the rear backrest.

I have a set of cabby black vinyl door cards & speaker pockets going ;)

Edited cos I'm a muppet

ok so basiclly han wants me to do her a re-trim, it would be alot easier for me to find a spare interior and re-trim it rather than trek oop norf to get hers and leave her without seats until its finished.

anyone have a spare interior going? RJ what do you want for the door cards?

£20 for the whole set, £30 if you want the speaker pockets as well, tho I assume Han has some already?

But cabby doorcards are flat, so you could make some out of MDF or ply or something!  If you want to come over and measure mine up for templates feel free :)
