Hi guys,
Im from leeds and i just joined as I'm looking to buy a mk1 or mk2 and do it up myself :D
Currently driving a 1.4 ford fiesta style

Thanks! Wanted one as long as I can remember. Just see one for 500 quid! Such a gamble......

Rust free is the key,parts are easily accessible for mk2 and plenty of help on this forum for fixing and advice

It says it has rust and a few dents but the rust looks minimal. Ill keep searching the forum for hints and tips!

Rust is certainly something to keep an eye out for. I made that mistake when I bought my mk2, it's not terrible, it just makes restoring that bit harder. New panels are easy and cheap to come by, but they generally arnt a great fit.

In Leeds, maybe you should just come and fix mine up for me :laugh:
It's a mk2. Fill it, drive it, enjoy it.  :smiley:
