Window Mechanisms

Recently one of the window clamps on the driver's side window mechanism has broken on my 1997 Golf.  Does anyone know if it is possible to buy these separately from the mechanism and if so, where from?  Also would it be possible to use a clamp from a manual mechanism on my electric one?  For the complete mechanism including regulator GSF charge approximately £130.00.  Similar second hand units on ebay have gone for around £80.00.  I am a tight arse and think its daft paying this much when all I need is a clamp.  Any help would be appreciated.   :rolleyes:

crap I've just chucked one out yesterday :angry:

would have thought manual/electric would be the same?
