hey guys,

engine light came on last night so ran it through the reader and heres the result

17705 - P1297 Connection turbocharger - throttle valve pressure hose
17545 - P1137 Long Term Fuel Trim Add.Fuel,Bank1 System too Rich
16825 - P0441 EVAP Emission Contr.Sys.Incorrect Purge Flow
16395 - P0020 -A- Camshaft Pos. Actuator Circ. Bank 2 Malfunction
18010 - P1602 Power Supply (B+) Terminal 30 Low Voltage

any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Are they all new codes? Have you cleared then, ran the car for a day or so then scanned again? I've added a little bit of info to each code above, but for more have a look here:

Ok, so:

17705/P1297/004759 - Pressure Drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve (check D.V.!)

Possible Symptoms
Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) ON
Power Loss
Possible Causes
Leaking Hoses and/or Pipes between Components
Boost Pressure Control Valve (N249) faulty
Diverter Valve faulty
Throttle Body dirty
Vacuum leak
Possible Solutions
Check Hoses and Pipes between Components
Check / Replace Boost Pressure Control Valve (N249)
Check / Replace Diverter Valve
Check / Clean Throttle Body
Perform Throttle Body Alignment (TBA)
Check for Vacuum leak(s) including PCV system
Special Notes
Did anyone install an extra (wrong) dump valve?
When found in the NAR 2.0T (BPY) check RVUTB: 01-09-03 or 2018919 for updated Crankcase Breather Valve
If the breather valve is faulty, full engine vacuum is typically found when removing the oil cap at idle.

17545/P1137/004407 - Fuel Trim: Bank 1 (Add): System too Rich

Possible Symptoms
Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) active
Possible Causes
Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor faulty
Fuel Pressure Regulator faulty
Fuel Injector(s) faulty
Oxygen Sensor Control faulty
Oxygen Sensor(s) faulty
Evaporative Emission (EVAP) System faulty
Possible Solutions
Check Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor
Check Fuel Pressure Regulator
Check Fuel Injector(s)
Check Oxygen Sensor Control
Check Oxygen Sensor(s)
Check Evaporative Emission (EVAP) System

16825/P0441/001089 - EVAP Emission Control Sys: Incorrect Flow

Possible Symptoms
Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) active
Possible Causes
Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Regulator Valve (N80) faulty/jammed
Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Solenoid Valve (N115) faulty/jammed
Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Sealing faulty
Pipes between Tank Breathing and Throttle Body leaky/blocked
Possible Solutions
Check Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Regulator Valve (N80)
Perform Output Test
Check Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Solenoid Valve (N115)
Check Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister
Perform Basic Setting
Check Pipes between Tank Breathing and Throttle Body
Special Notes
When found in the NAR 1.8T Audi A4 1.8T check TSB 24-08-78 or 2010268/3 or Pass-Thru equivalent TSB
When found in the NAR 1.8T VW Passat 1.8T check TSB 01-09-09 or 2005554 or Pass-Thru equivalent TSB
Note: The Passat 26E5 or "R5" recall includes the same software update
Make sure the quick release lines for the N80 valve and vacuum line to LDP are not crossed.
This can also make the engine hard to start after filling up the fuel tank.

16395/P0011/000017 - Bank 1: Camshaft A (Intake): Retard Setpoint not Reached (Over-Advanced)

Possible Symptoms
Power Loss
Possible Causes
Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 (N205) faulty
Fuel Pump Relay (J17) faulty
Mechanical Timing not correct, including Chain and/or Belt timing.
Possible Solutions
Check Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 (N205)
Check Fuel Pump Relay (J17)
Check Mechanical Timing
Special Notes
When found in Engine: 4.0l W8
Check TPL 2010059(RoW)
Check/Replace Oil Sieve in Timing Case (Camshaft Adjuster)

18010
/P1602/005634 - Power Supply B+ Terminal 30: Voltage too Low

Possible Causes
Cables on the Battery were removed
Battery weak (voltage)
Generator Disfunction
Possible Solutions
Check Battery Cables
Check/Replace Battery
Check/Replace Generator
Special Notes
If multiple Control Module have Power Supply Faults stored, it's most likely to be one common Problem like the ones shown above. Otherwise when only one or two Control Modules have such Codes stored you better start searching at the individual Power Supply of these Modules.
Terminal 30 means unswitched battery power that is supplied even when the ignition is off. This is not referring to any physical terminal numbered 30.

ok, well i have a catch can installed to replace the PCV system, N249 was replaced as i had previously removed it but replaced as sold the car then bought it back within a couple of days  :embarrassed: will need to clean out the TB as hasnt been done yet, looks like a full silicone conversion is on the cards now, dump valve is being replaced when remapped by Rtech

Fuel trim...is that a sensor?

the EVAP, i'll get my mechanic to sort out

Camshaft A...just had the cambelt done in October last year, will ask him to check that again

i need a new battery anyways, any suggestions? and i have just fitted some angel eyes a bit like yours really mate
