Ceramic break pads or red stuff or alternative
« on: 30 August 2017, 17:28 »
Looking to change my front brake pads. Have noticed euro car parts have ATE ceramic pads so looked at a few reviews some good and some bad.

Any recommendations on pads to buy? EBC Red Stuff came up in a few searches but some people saying that the initial bite is not as good.

I need better stopping power and less brake dust..

I had EBC green stuff pads in my old car I found them good enough for general use and if you had to break hard and the big plus was less brake dust on the wheels which were shadow chrome at the time.
Unless you intend track days or driving and stopping like a loon I'd go green as red are more for track use..
