Yay thanks so much. Got my car serviced already but the message has been driving me nuts for months. Now it's gone woo. Now ive got a question though. Will th service light come on next time the car is due a service or will it come on based on when I deactivated the light?

Excuse my simpleness!!   What is the difference between "Longlife Service Intervals"  and "Fixed Intervals" ?

Thanks
Wilson

Fixed - change the oil every 10000 miles

Longlife - depending on your driving style / journey's - change the oil from 8000 to approx 20,000 miles

If you're on longlife I'd change to fixed and drop the oil every 12 months or 10,000 miles, which ever occurs first
