Here's another so you can have a better look

Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

I'm trying to buy one exactly like that, every month or two I jive the guy a shout to see if he'll change his mind about keeping it. Less than 60k on the clock and completely original.

Both cracking looking Golfs :afro:

One thing I'd say about putting 17's on the Match is maybe think about picking up a set of 17" scirocco wheels. They run a much better offset (ET41) and are 8" wide. If you run 225 tyres on them they'll sit nice and square.

The mk2 needs no intro, a lovely example full stop.

How about a caravan shot too!

Lower offset wheels would look a bit silly on the standard highrise suspension and I have no intention of lowering it and spoiling the ride, so going to stick with something standardish.

The caravan doesn't live at home, but I'll no doubt take some pics when it's been dragged by the Amarok, proper Pikey styley.

There are three Golf mk7's with non sports suspension within a few yards of my house and they'd all carry off lower offset wheels without looking like a Tiguan.
