The third wave of engines for the new Golf will open for ordering a week earlier than originally planned.

The following models will open for ordering on Thursday 27 April and will only be built as model year 2018 (MY18):

GTI Performance
5 150PS TSI EVO engine (on Golf Hatch GT/R-Line and Golf Estate GT)

This model will open for ordering in early May:

e-Golf
The final model will open for ordering in mid-June:

5 130PS TSI EVO BlueMotion engine (on Golf Hatch/Estate SE and SE Nav)

Nothing confirmed yet, fingers crossed about £1000 extra................

As a manager in a VW dealership can you comment on the reason why UK GTi and GTD's don't have fog lights? Surely you must know.

So I can order a GTI Performance next week :huh:

As Abraham Lincoln once said - you should only believe half of what you read on the internet! :rolleyes: :grin:

12 weeks delivery = late July or early August :cool:

Edit: Oh wait - does that mean they won't build them until week 22?

Can evo1986 also answer why Sport & Sound is not an option on the FL7.5 please?
Sport & Sound + front fog lights make the Mk7 GTD, so it seems a backward step for the FL7.5!

I'm guessing by the lack of reply to my post before but he answered posts after mine that the answer is, not a clue :embarrassed:
