Like said above, Skoda's today are pretty much VW's with a different badge, however there's still quite a bit of snobbery that persists like there still is from Audi owners who think VW's are for poor people, VW owners tend to do the same to Skoda owners 
Yeah I agree it's a knock on effect iv had audi's the latest one was the A3 2.0 sport and to be honest my current Gti well out weighs the audi.
They are very over priced now to match the current options the Vw's have so to me n audI comes across as a slightly posh Vw at more the price tag
And the current Seat Fr is a joke inside for the money plastic plastic and more plastic not a very nice cabin at all
