TDI turbo issue
« on: 19 May 2008, 18:14 »
My tdi115pd turbo spins up the strongly from about 1500rpm but dies off around 2100rpm, the other issue is it seems to come and go, hesitates at 2000rpm after which you cannot hear the whistle though pulling power does not seem 100%. I had a maf go which was replaced ( non original ) and before that it worked fine. Could it be the n75 going or is it a duf maf, I cant find an air leak. Forgot to add it smokes a bit more when booting it and when cold at low revs seems like its over fueling itself.

Any suggestions / help would be appreciated.

i'd sy double check the hoses for a boost leak, as something could be popping out under pressure from the turbo.

if there is definitely no leak, then try and get it connected to vag com to try and spot and MAF issues, the clone MAF's can be a false economy.
