Hi

Please could someone tell me,if the DSG gearbox on the GTD has paddle shifters behind the steering wheel as standard?

Also, does the DSG on the GTD have launch control? Thanks

It's great fun to try in an R once in a while. As close to that "shooting down a runway" feeling you can get without going to an airport.

So, back on topic, very basic answer is that the dsg gearbox has two shafts, one carrying the odd gears and one the evens, each with it's own clutch. The box cpu tries to ensure that each shaft has the next required gear engaged so that, when that shaft's clutch engages and the.............

I don't think The OP actually meant that question, he just wanted to know if his new gtd dsg had Clarkson worthy bragging power :-P

Where did you get that from and what is classed as over use?
