VWR Quickshift or...............
« on: 03 September 2012, 04:03 »
Hi, Anyone running the VWR Quickshift or any other quickshift? I feel my GTI Edition 35's travel quite long compared to my old S3 and looking to uprgade to an aftermarket quickshift including sideshift.

Any reviews or knowledge of the part would be great.

Thanks, Gary.

You should be able to fit the s3 part as a much cheaper option if you were happy with the s3 shift.
A few have to the mk6. I think the threads in the maintained section.
Mk6 GTI  &  Mk1 GTI
34 years of GTI ownership.

I have the VWR quickshift and love it.
It's adjustable and goes closer than the S3 set-up...you pays your money and makes your choice.

Ed35 has same shifter arm as S3, I had a VWR one on rocco and was great but always felt it may have contributed to a warranty issue (hence why it didnt go on the Ed35) now they are a ludicrous £160 so I'd be looking elsewhere (given oem Ed35 is sub £30),
