Screen Calibration

Though i would post this link up as well, as ive found soem of my photos appear alot darker than on my screen at home so need to check its set up right!!

I just use my Spyder to set my calibration  :rolleyes: I don't trust my own eyes.

I don't really have to worry as Mac's auto calibrate.

Auto calibrate to what - it still needs a sensor to read the output to make sure its right :huh:

Nope. Because Mac's are assembled from all the same parts for an entire run they are all calibrated from the factory. PC's aren't becuase they can have any old monitor plugged in. It's why graphic designers use macs.

The only calibration you need to do is calibrate it to your printer if you have one.

Lol, that's what my business partner says.

However, once we recalibrated it he soon changed his tune, it displayed a slightly wider range of colours with a better contrast and general appearance.

Bloody mac people - there's no telling you :grin:
