Title: Engine Noise!!!.....Can Sum1 Help

hello

just went for a ride in my 95 golf gti 16v on a wet night, and started the car like normal but this time im getting a ticking/humming/whistling noise from the engine. does any1 know wot this could be ??

please sum1 help!!!!

It's knackered I'm afraid mate. Give you 150 quid for it?



On a more serious note, can you give a better description of the noise? Have you opened the bonnet to hear where it's coming from? Is it on idle or under acceleration?

Have a look under your hood and see where its coming from. could be something catching or something dry. hense abit of grease could help

just had sum1 out to look at car and its the steering wheel bearing!!!

so i wont be selling my car lol cheers for the offers tho
