CSS - lack of space saver -mobility kit

I wrote to VW customer complaints 3 times and have only just had a response some 2 weeks on

The dozy doris says:

"After looking at your owners manual you do have a towing eye socket, please click the link below and refer to the index"

So that's not what I asked, I asked about the Towing Eye and all the rest of the emergency kit to which she makes no reference and then gives me a lazy link in which is a load of German blurb

I got a vw inflation kit 7h0 601 703 from a transporter van for my CSS

Can’t see how VW couldn’t have just included this if they were so intent on removing the space saver.

1.5kg wouldn’t have made any difference to a lap time I reckon.

Got a brand new one on eBay for £25
