I can't really relate due to the fact I have no one close (or far) that has suffered from cancer, however I can appreciate those that do have family and friends with it and would be more than happy to support cancer research. :afro:

Maybe set the bar a bit higher this time as well? Instead of £1000, make it £1100. If £1000 is possible then the latter shouldn't be a problem. Each year after we could then increase by an extra amount slowly, but surely.

i think jonathon has made a valid point but so has jv.....

i personally have had contact from a previous head nurse whos son has sturge-weber syndrome, an aweful experience for her and every bit of help she has had has i know been gratefully received!
but as jv says, its not a well known condition and would we do very well?
but im up for supporting any tbh, just to get that helpful feeling :D
