Component or Co-Axial?
« on: 27 December 2007, 15:53 »
Hey, sorry if this is a common question, but i cant find my answer via the search

My rear 6X4's are dead and im looking to replace them - so any recommendations?

At the same time as replacing those im thinking of doing the fronts,

So my question is do i buy component or co-axial?

also, im going to be gettin a sub - or 2 in my boot, want to custom build a box and prob go the false floor route, so would this then make my 6X4's redundant/pointless?

Cheers guys, any help, links or advice welcome?

it will run them fine, i would be more tempted to a 'recognised' make, so for the same money, these:

Id put something in the back. My mates got 2 door speakers in the front of his car and a sub in the boot. The sub drains out all the music when in the back so you can't hear anything but bass  Might be what some people like but i prefer to hear the song with added bass than just bass

Well, don't sit in the back then!

Seriously, if you are the driver, and you're paying for the speakers, then definitely front components (amped of course), and a sub in the boot.
