Wiring Dilemma
« on: 19 May 2005, 16:26 »
I was fiddling around with the wiring of my headunit, and I accidentally let the illumination wire touch ground (I think!), which blew the relevant fuse in the fusebox - messing up the dashlights.  After replacing that fuse, the dash lights work fine, however when I plugged my headunit back in it won't power on!

I know I was stupid to work on it without taking off the battery lead but I was in a lazy mood that day

Any help is much appreciated :)

Check the fuse that runs inline with your stereo feed and check the fuse in the back of the stereo, if there is one.  If you get no joy check all the other fuses in your main fusebox, you never know.
