got up to the garage by 8am this morning to put me new springs on done it all drove out of the garage at 10am and they havent lowered the car in the slightist wat a waste of time im well p!ssed off  :cry: :cry: :cry:

did you have lowering springs on to begin with??  :undecided:

don't forget your car is lower than standard anyway so you may only see a 15-20mm drop  :sad:

na bog standard gti springs m8 i measured gap befor i pu then on and after both came out 60mm gap so i dunno goin to  :cry:

you deffo been sent the correct springs?

yours will take some time to settle being brand new - mine dropped a) used b) huge big powerful derv engine in the front  :tongue:

have you made sure the springs are correctly seated in the strut ( i.e spring in it's cup) you should see a difference straight off but wont see full drop until settled. also are the strut's fully in the hubs so that the hook for the pinch bolt is correctly located?
