He wants to use the car everyday & it's got to be practical, so maybe coilies will be a bit too harsh for him??  :undecided:

Hmm...

I would love to see how harsh coilies are when wound down about 35mm. My cars a daily and that'll be on coilies I think.

I was originally going to use coilovers but was warned against them because they would kill the ride quality. I guess I'm after a compromise between looks and the car being practical. I also don't want to have to bother changing the ARB either. From this point of view, coilovers are out of the equation.

So, what should I use instead...? Springs, or springs & shocks?

Springs will be fine if your shocks are ok - will wear them quicker tho.

Go for eibach pros if you dont want it too low or eibachs sports if you do!! - IMO

Sport kit is a bit harder than pro kit BTW

Pro kit will drop the car about 20 - 30mm:

Sport kit 40mm - 50mm drop:

coilovers to me give just as good quality ride as springs or shocks and springs.... and at least you have the option of adjusting the ride height to suit you

arb??
