Title: Goodwood Trackday
Post by: tallchap on 11 March 2004, 21:49
A mate of mine runs a track day company.

Next day is Saturday 10th April @ Goodwood.

Check out their website for forthcoming dates - www.trackfun.co.uk, or email 'jon@frankelj.freeserve.co.uk'.

They will be doing a day at Bruntingthorpe in Leicestershire later this year for those of you who live in the Mids/North.

Only problem with Goodwood is cause of the locals they have very stricked sound restrictions and my car doesn't pass  :'(

Shame as I just live down the road from there

Yes it is too loud.
But once it is all fixed I am going to take it down for a re test as doing my ISV reroute has cut some of my zorst sound on cruising so hopefully I will then pass

You're right, the locals are buggers! However, they do run 105db days sometimes which most cars (bar really noisy 911's - for obvious reasons) pass... Never had a problem with our Clio race cars even on 98db days, but if you have lots of induction noise going on it makes the noise meters peak.

Excuse my ignorance......but...does a standard R32 pass the noise police?

I am close to Goodwood and would love to give my R32 a good ragging.

Be good to know...
