Cheers for the comments (even you Rhys)

I think I'll be going for a K04-001

Bit of repair work carried out over Xmas, I've been putting off fitting the new seat base for ages now so thought I'd better do it before the material wears away and ends up costing a lot more

no pics of during as it was a complete arse of a job but this is the state of the base I pulled out

Totally knackered

new one feels lovely now but it's not a job I want to do again lol

it's the clips that are frustrating. They are like a clasp with a hook on them as they need to stay clipped to the wire rods in the foam, but this makes them a PITA to get off and then clip back on to the new foam (as the new foam is thicker due to not being worn). Also the material is secured with the bolts that hold the back to the base but I didn't have the right tool to get these out so had to work round it

It's time consuming as you don't want to break the clips. If you do you'll have saggy material

Cheers fellas. I think short journeys have killed the base and the constant getting in/out that happens with them, not my fat arse

Not fitted the brakes yet, I only took delivery just before Xmas so not had a chance to do anything with them. They are sat in the shed waiting to be cleaned up and painted which I'll do over the weekend probably once I paint the other set of sunvisors I've got out there then they can go up for sale (shameless plug lol)
